Learning & participation

Roxana has been part of many learning and participation projects. For her, this work is as integral as creating productions and she is most content when the two combine.

She has led and facilitated workshops for companies including Scottish Opera, The Royal Opera House, Opera Holland Park, English Touring Opera and English National Opera. Roxana also frequently trains and teaches in various capacities. She has taught and delivered drama sessions to professional and non-professional companies, and leads acting sessions and workshops for singers. She also delivers training for professionals working in or with children in the care system with a focus on 'child-centred practice'.

During Covid-19 she has curated a series of videos for children and their families exploring and learning about the world of Fox-tot! For more information see the Scottish Opera website here.

She currently leads The Gateway Company at Scottish Opera for 14-18 year olds with Jonathon Swinard.

In 2018 Roxana lead workshops for Clonter and one thousand children ages 7-11 introducing them to opera and musical theatre.

For Indomitable Productions (co-founder) she created An Album of Memories, a series of personalized concerts for participants living with dementia, at the 2016 Bloomsbury Festival and at memory cafés across London.
